creative lunching:

I have a non-traditional school-aged luncher who prefers anything but sandwiches. During the school year I've gathered some simple ideas but would love to know how you approach creative lunches? [Lunchbox car here.]

Our typical rotating menu:

  • peanut butter with apples, carrot sticks, crackers
  • deli meat "rolls" & cheese
  • customized trail mix
  • homemade granola & yogurt
  • banana bread "sandwiches" (cream cheese spread in the middle)
  • Greek pasta salad
  • hummus & pita triangles
