On December 2nd, we opened the doors to Puj Headquarters to host our very first Puj Holiday Pop Up Shop! This festive showcase of local makers was the perfect way to usher in the holidays, and we loved having the chance to celebrate the season with our local community.
Some of our favorite local makers joined us for the event, sharing their goods and spreading the holiday cheer! A favorite among the Puj staff, Treat bakery provided delicious cookies and Stumptown coffee to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. After all, it wouldn’t be a holiday party without a sweet treat!
Portland letterpress company Egg Press supplied paper goods for sale in contemporary holiday designs for all ages. These cards and stationery items are available for purchase on Puj.com through January 1st, including many wintry and year-round designs.
The Holiday Pop Up Shop benefited local nonprofit organization Share of Vancouver, who serves our community’s hungry and homeless during the holidays and every day of the year. We’re grateful to Share for the incredible work they’re doing in our city, and we’re so glad to have the opportunity to give back to our neighbors!
Local photographer Linnea Paulina provided holiday portraits for event attendees big and small, with all proceeds benefitting Share of Vancouver’s community programs.
Jenny Sanders of Graceline Art was on hand to provide custom calligraphy on gift items and Christmas ornaments, as well as beautiful prints and hand-lettered ribbons. In true Puj fashion, Jenny’s 7-month old joined us for the event and was a sweet addition to our lineup of vendors!
Ceramics from Katie M Mudd Ceramics are always a hit at Puj Pop Ups and were as popular as ever for holiday gifting. A true artist, Katie’s unique work can be found on her Etsy store and locally in Portland.
We were fortunate to have Portland candymaker Quin Candy at our holiday event. Guests flocked to Quin’s assortment of caramels and confections, and we know many stockings will be filled with these delicious treats this year!
Mama & Little’s Arleene Taylor brought a beautiful assortment of silicone teething jewelry in a perfectly soft palette. These stylish pieces are a great way to keep teething little ones happy, and make a great gift for new moms.
Cult favorite Slumberkins brought their many fuzzy friends with them, including the Slumber Sloth and plush Yeti. These adorable ultra-soft critters promote relaxation and sleep, and are each accompanied by a special Sleepytime Rhyme to help ease children into bedtime seamlessly. They’re the perfect end to baby’s nighttime routine, right after a soothing bath in the Puj Tub, of course!
Slumberkins’ founders Callie and Kelly were both pregnant when they signed up for the Holiday Pop Up Shop (check out this precious shot), though they both expected Callie would have a baby in her arms by the date of the event. But come December 2nd, this sweet babe still hadn’t made an appearance, and Callie joined us in high spirits! Making this year’s Puj Pop Up event even more special, Slumberkins’ founder Callie welcomed her new baby to the family just hours after leaving the event. We’re so grateful to both Callie and Kelly for joining us, and welcome baby Cora to the Puj family!
Thanks to all who joined us for this merry event! If you’re in the Portland, Oregon area, be sure to sign up for our local newsletter to be notified of upcoming local events.
